Welcome back.

While I was chasing waterfalls and puffins in Iceland last week, the Adirondacks were busy doing what they do best—hosting fairs, filling concert venues, and reminding us that summer doesn't wait for anyone.

Back home, the ADK somehow survived another July heatwave. Now, the air is cooler, the evenings are a little longer, and somewhere in the back of every Adirondacker's mind is the quiet realization that mid-July has arrived. I guess I timed that right. Still, summer, as always, is moving a little too quickly.
