Strand Center for the Arts celebrates Pride Month with a new installation, Hues of Identity Pride Exhibition.
Hues of Identity showcases queer art illustrating the queer experience through the perspective of LGBTQIA+ artists.
Through the lens of media, culture, history, politics, intimacy, self-acceptance, and more, this exhibition highlights queer artists as artists worth celebrating. Even if the pieces do not appear explicitly “queer” in nature, they serve an important role in queer self-expression.
Participating Artists include:
