The Fun Heats Up at 2025 Best 4th in the North in Ticonderoga

The 4th of July fun continues in Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain with a Cow Plop Bingo fundraiser.

The Best 4th In The North Celebration in Ticonderoga, NY, is a four-day, family-friendly Independence Day festival held in Ticonderoga’s Bicentennial Park close to the heart of downtown.

Over four days, attendees can enjoy food trucks, live music, an Inflatable Fun Zone for Lil’ ADKers, and giant lawn games. Special highlights include the return of the Cow Plop Fundraiser and, of course, a spark-tacular fireworks display.

Events on Tuesday, July 1 and Wednesday, July 2.

Touch a trek at Best Fourth in the North Ticonderoga

Ticonderoga’s Best 4th in the North features a Touch a Truck for kids.

  • 4 pm – 9 pm: Food Trucks & Vendors

  • 4 pm to 7 pm: Caricatures with Joe Ferris

  • 5 pm to 9 pm: Kids’ Inflatable Fun Zone & Giant Lawn Games — Includes multiple themed bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, and giant outdoor lawn games. Fun Zone will light up at night.

  • 5 pm to 9 pm: Full Face Art by Art Bucket

  • 6 pm to 9 pm: Live Music featuring Hodge Podge on Tuesday and Living the Dream on Wednesday.

Thursday, July 3 Festivities.

  • 11:00 am: Cow Plop Bingo Best 4th in the North Fundraiser — Buy a ticket to win a chance for cash prizes in a fun Adirondack tradition of live cow bingo. Lillie Valley Farm is making this fundraiser possible. Cow Plop Bingo will take place at the farm and will be live-streamed on the Best 4th in the North Facebook page. It must be seen to be believed.

  • 4 pm – 9 pm: Food Trucks & Vendors

  • 4 pm — 7 pm: Touch-a-Truck — Lil’ ADKers can interact with large construction equipment, first responder vehicles, and more. Touch-a-Truck will take place in the parking area between Kissing Bridge, Public Kayak, and Canoe Launch.

  • 4 pm to 7 pm: Caricatures with Joe Ferris

  • 5 pm to 9 pm: Kids’ Inflatable Fun Zone & Giant Lawn Games — Includes multiple themed bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, and giant outdoor lawn games. Fun Zone will light up at night.

  • 5 pm — 9 pm: Full Face Art by Art Bucket

  • 6 pm to 9 pm: Live Music Featuring Ultimate Journey Experience, a Journey tribute band.

Friday, July 4.

The big day is action-packed, featuring a terrific line-up of events, celebrations, commemorations, fun, and spectacles.

  • 12:15 pm: Join the Champlain Valley Chorale on the steps of the Town of Ticonderoga Community Building for the singing of popular patriotic songs.

  • 12:30 pm: Following the sing-along, Mark Wright, Town of Ticonderoga Supervisor, will read the Declaration of Independence on the steps of the Community Building.

  • 1:45 pm: Running of the Montcalm Mile

  • 2 pm: Annual Patriotic Parade

  • 4 pm to 7 pm: Caricatures with Joe Ferris

  • 4 pm – 9 pm: Food Trucks & Vendors

  • 5 pm to 9 pm: Kids’ Inflatable Fun Zone

  • 5 pm to 6 pm: Patriotic Stilt Walkers —Free performance for all to enjoy throughout the park.

  • 6 pm – 9 pm: Live Music Featuring Skeeter Creek — New York’s number-one modern country band.

  • 9:30/9:45 PM (Dusk): Grand Fireworks Display Over Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park. Fireworks provided by Santore World Famous Fireworks. The time is approximate and is based on weather and safety conditions.
