As you travel through the six million acres that make up the Adirondack Park, you’re sure to encounter general stores that offer essentials and then some. The nearest “city” is an hour or more away, and folks need stuff now.
PIne’s Country Store is one such place in Indian Lake. Everything from mulch to air conditioners to fans to toys and puzzles for the kids.
If you’re around Indian Lake and need a room fan, a paddle board, some worms, or a flat of petunias, Pines has you covered.
Do not confuse these highly curated and indispensable emporiums with the humdrum, mundane, prosaic chain “dollar stores” infiltrating the North Country. Be sure to support your local mercantile.
