See Essex transform into the Halloween capital of the Adirondacks as our Town Hall morphs into a terrifying haunted house and a street carnival takes over Main Street.
The Haunted Town Hall will open its doors from 4–8 pm. The first hour is scare-free (no actors will jump out, but the lights will be off).
The Main Street Carnival will be partying from 4–8 pm. Enjoy s'mores around the campfire, win prizes playing carnival games, and monster mash to spooky dance tunes under the full moon.
Lil’ ADKers’ activities begin at 2:30 pm. Pumpkin painting (all ages), Clown Hunt (ages 7+), and Egg Hunt (ages 0-6).
Costume Contest at The Barn Door Tavern. Dress to impress—there will be prizes for the scariest, most innovative, best kids' costume, and more!
Enjoy refreshments at The Pink Pig, The Barn Door Tavern, and The Essex Ice Cream Cafe
