The picturesque village of Essex hosts its annual holiday festival with a slate of fun activities, delicious food and a wonderful craft market featuring local artisans. Among the scheduled events are:
Holiday Craft Fair featuring local artisans in the College for Every Student building (behind the Post Office). Check out the current list of vendors.
A special performance from The Champlain Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International at St. John's Church at 1:30 pm
Opportunities to grab lunch at the Pink Pig, Essex Ice Cream Café, and the Essex Community Church soup and cookie plate sale
Holiday shopping at Main Street shops
Special events for kids to experience the magic of an Adirondack Christmas.

The 9:30 am arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Essex Ferry Dock
A delicious Pancake Breakfast with Santa at the Essex Firehouse (hosted by the Essex Masonic Lodge)
Reindeer Run (sponsored by Champlain Area Trails) at 11 am
Cookie Decorating at the Essex Old Brick Store (next to Town Hall) from 11:30 am to 2 pm
Puppet Show at Town Hall (hosted by Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm) at 12:30 pm
