Rulfs Orchard Corn Maze Brings Fall Fun After Dark in Peru

Maze in a corn field in fall.

Fall is corn maze season in the Adirondacks.

America’s 250th anniversary takes a decidedly agricultural turn at Rulfs Orchard in Peru, NY. The orchard’s annual Corn Maze & Flashlight Nights returns to the Adirondack Coast with an anniversary-themed maze open now through October 31, 2026, plus two October evenings for visitors who prefer to navigate by flashlight.

On those special nights, Rulfs will sell doughnuts, coffee, and hot chocolate at the maze, giving amateur navigators a welcome refreshment stop. The orchard’s retail store will also stay open until 9 pm.

Located at 531 Bear Swamp Road in Peru, Rulfs offers a fall outing on the Lake Champlain side of the Adirondack region. The corn maze gives families and friends a shared challenge, with a choice between daily daytime visits and two scheduled evening sessions.

The 2026 design celebrates America’s 250th anniversary. Visitors can explore the maze daily from 10 am – 4 pm, with the last tickets sold at 3 pm. That ticket cutoff matters: arriving just before closing will leave visitors admiring the corn from the outside.

Daytime tickets are sold on the day of the visit. On weekends, visitors purchase admission at the maze booth; during the week, they buy tickets inside the store.

Flashlight Nights on the Adirondack Coast.

Rulfs hosts Flashlight Nights on Saturday, October 17, and Saturday, October 24, from 5 pm – 9 pm. The final ticket time slot is 8 pm.

Visitors should bring their own flashlights. Rulfs explicitly identifies this as a non-haunted maze, making the evenings a useful option for people who enjoy an after-dark fall outing without a staged fright attraction.

The orchard requires anyone under 18 to have supervision. Its evening policy specifies a parent or supervising adult; the daytime policy calls for a parent. Teens should bring identification if attending without a parent and be prepared to demonstrate that they meet the admission requirements.

Admission and group visits.

Published corn maze admission costs $9 for ages 13 and older and $7 for ages 4–12. Children ages 3 and younger enter free.

Groups of 20 or more can arrange reduced rates of $7 for adults and $5 for ages 4–12. Organizers must arrange group pricing directly by calling 518-643-8636 or emailing amanda@rulfsorchard.com.

Rulfs does not clearly identify separate Flashlight Night pricing or evening booking requirements on its current event page. Visitors planning an evening outing should confirm those details directly.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Choose the session before making the drive: daytime ticket sales end at 3 pm, while Flashlight Nights happen on only two dates. Evening visitors should pack a flashlight and leave time for a doughnut or hot chocolate.
