Boathouses of Lake George
A beautiful book to grace your coffee table chronicling the stunning boathouses of Lake George.

What's on your nightstand or coffee table? We are enthralled by "Boathouses of Lake George" by Trinket Mason.
The shores of Lake George (and many other lakes in the ADK) are dotted with a variety of boathouse styles, sizes and shapes. We find them endlessly fascinating and it's wonderful to see them captured here in this beautiful book.
Ms. Mason does an excellent job capturing the variety of boathouses still extant on Lake George. She photographs the boathouses from the water, which is the ideal way to appreciate them, allowing the reader to enjoy the view without watercraft and regardless of the weather.
This book is the perfect gift for any ADK lake lover. As much as we would love to own a genuine Adirondack Great Camp, our desire to own an authentic, bona fide ADK boathouse.
The regulations and laws regarding boathouses are long, complex and boring. So don't look to me or Trinket to give you advice on building or maintaining your boathouse. BTW....how awesome is the name "Trinket"?
