Americade in Lake George Village.

Americade 2026 returns to Lake George and the Fort William Henry Resort for a week-long motorcycle festival that has become one of the most anticipated events in the Adirondacks.

Part rally, part travel experience, and part social gathering, Americade blends scenic riding, hands-on demos, and a packed schedule of events into a uniquely welcoming celebration of motorcycling culture.

Americade is nothing to shrug at: it’s the world's largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally, drawing over 50,000 riders.

Held May 27–May 31, 2026 (with an opening celebration on May 26), this iconic event transforms Lake George Village into a hub of chrome, conversation, and community—set against the sweeping roads and mountain views of the Adirondack Park.

A motorcycle festival with a different tone.

Americade isn’t about spectacle for spectacle’s sake. Since its founding in 1983 by Bill Dutcher, it has focused on showcasing “the best of motorcycling”—with an emphasis on camaraderie, safety, and inclusivity.

That ethos is part of what sets it apart from other large rallies. Riders of all brands and styles—touring, cruising, sport-touring, and adventure—come together for shared experiences rather than competition or excess. The result is a festival that feels both large-scale and surprisingly approachable.

What to expect during Americade week in the Adirondacks.

Americade is best experienced as a full-week immersion. Days are filled with guided and unguided rides through the Adirondacks and neighboring Green Mountains, offering access to some of the most scenic motorcycling routes in the Northeast.

Back in Lake George Village, the energy shifts to the Americade Expo at Charles R. Wood Festival Commons—a sprawling showcase of motorcycles, gear, and accessories. It’s widely considered one of the largest demo opportunities in the U.S., with riders able to test new models from major manufacturers.

Off the bike, the schedule expands even further:

  • Dinner boat cruises on Lake George

  • Comedy shows and live entertainment

  • Stunt shows and special events

  • Social gatherings and meetups

Americade also partners with the Wounded Warrior Project and Ride for Kids, raising funds and offering a meaningful, restorative experience for veterans and charitable causes.
