Each fall, we dust off our lederhosen and dirndls, tee up the Oompah band playlist on Spotify and head to Whiteface Mountain for the annual Oktoberfest.
Complete with live music, dancing, food, and beer, Whiteface Mountain’s Oktoberfest is a long-standing tradition welcoming fall visitors to the Adirondacks in authentic Alpine style.
Mark your calendars for the weekend-long, Bavarian-style celebration with authentic music, dancing, food and beer—rated one of the 5 Must-Visit Oktoberfests in North America by SKI Magazine. This year’s festival features music by headliners die Schlauberger in the Main Entertainment Tent, The Adlers, Schachtelgebirger Musikanten (Scha-Musi) in the Cloudspin Bar & Grill, the 3 Alphorns, and the Alpenland Taenzer dancers.
This family-friendly event includes activities for all ages, including arts and crafts, face painting, carnival rides, arts and crafts, balloon animals, the Whiteface Adventure Zone and scenic gondola rides.
