Chairlift Rides, Live Music, and Oktoberfest at Titus Mountain in Malone

Oktoberfest at Titus Mountain.

Lederhosen may get the attention, but free chairlift rides give this Oktoberfest its Adirondack character.

Titus Mountain’s 45th annual Oktoberfest returns to Titus Mountain Family Ski Center in Malone on Saturday, October 3, 2026, pairing a mountain fall festival with live music, vendors, children’s activities, and fireworks at dusk.

Gates open at 10 am. Admission costs $5, and children 12 and under enter free—a modest starting point for a day with activities ranging from hayrides to pumpkin painting.

Food and drink are available throughout the day, with proceeds supporting medical supplies for Titus Mountain’s Ski Patrol. Food trucks join the evening lineup from 5 pm – 10 pm, giving visitors staying for music and fireworks another reason to linger.

Chairlift rides and family activities at Titus Mountain.

The ski mountain supplies more than a backdrop. Free chairlift rides run from 11:30 am – 4 pm, offering a chance to trade the festival grounds for a look at the slopes in their autumn wardrobe. Hayrides operate during the same hours.

Families can also find the free Titus Teddy Kids’ Zone, plus a hay maze, face painting, and pumpkin painting. Those three activities run from 11 am – 5 pm, making the middle of the day particularly useful for visitors with younger children.

The schedule suits families who want several activities in one place without committing to an evening visit. Adults planning a longer stay can move from daytime browsing and mountain rides into the music program.

Oktoberfest shopping and treats in Malone.

Vendors operate from 10 am – 6 pm, with a substantial 2026 roster spanning crafts, specialty foods, businesses, and community organizations. Browsers can look for Dragonfly Pottery Studio, Adirondack Soy Candles, Orange Door Books, and Pine & Bear It Chainsaw Carving.

Food-related vendors include Wilson’s Honey, Cornell Maple Products, Simply Jubilee Jams & Jellies, and Brew’d Coffee. The selection gives shoppers plenty to investigate beyond the usual festival souvenir.

Traditional Bavarian attire gets its own best-dressed contest. Dirndls and lederhosen therefore have a practical purpose, though ordinary October layers remain a sensible wardrobe choice.

Live music carries the festival into the evening.

Three acts provide a continuous afternoon-to-evening lineup:

  • LP Acoustic: 12 pm – 3 pm

  • Merrik Follett & The Pickups: 3 pm – 6:30 pm

  • Six Foot Midgets: 6:30 pm – 10 pm

Fireworks are scheduled for dusk. Visitors can plan around that general timing, but the organizers have not published a precise launch time.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Prioritize the chairlift or hayride before browsing every vendor booth: both rides finish at 4 pm, while vendors remain until 6 pm. Families can then fit in pumpkin painting or the hay maze before those activities close at 5 pm.
