Easter in the Adirondack High Peaks
Whiteface Mountain hosts its annual Easter Egg Hunt and other events.
On Sunday, March 31st, the highly anticipated Easter Egg Hunt at Whiteface Mountain will be back (pending weather and conditions). Events begin early Sunday morning and continue until early afternoon.
Start your morning with a mountaintop Easter Service.
For those seeking to begin the day with a moment of reflection and connection, attend a Non-Denominational Easter Service atop Little Whiteface at 8 am.
The Cloudsplitter Gondola will open its doors at 7:15 am, welcoming all to partake in this uplifting experience. It will be free to ride the Gondola to attend the service.
Fuel up for the day with a delicious breakfast.
Visit the Base Camp Market on the 2nd floor of the Main Base Lodge to fuel up for the day’s activities with Easter Breakfast specials. They will serve scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage, bacon, and beverages.
The breakfast is available from 8 am to 10:30 am.
The Easter egg hunt begins at noon.
The day's highlight is Whiteface's Easter Egg Hunt for Lil’ ADKers. The excitement kicks off at noon. Hunters are divided into two age groups.
The six and under group’s hunt starts at noon at the Main Base Lodge
Seven to 12-year-olds begin their hunt at 12:15 pm on Brookside Trail in front of the Base Lodge. Skiers and riders start from the top of Brookside; non-skiers begin at the bottom of the trail.
All hunters will have the opportunity to search for an abundance of eggs stuffed with fantastic surprises. The ultimate prize for both groups is a coveted Golden Egg (one for each age group) containing a Season Pass for the 2024/25 season. In addition, each group will have a Silver Egg with another incredible prize.
