Located on the road to Gore Mountain, becks TAVERN’s contemporary-chalet-industrial vibe is open all year-round. With a bright and warm interior, this tavern and restaurant serves delicious German-inspired food.
The menu features traditional dishes like kielbasa, schnitzels, pierogies, and sauerbraten. Plus, American staples: steaks, seafood, and burgers. Locally sourced ingredients include Oscar’s cured meats, Nettle Meadow cheeses, craft beers and more.
We frequently order the meat and cheese plate, a robust charcuterie board featuring locally smoked meats and cheeses. The pierogies and potato pancakes are also a sure bet for deliciousness.
If you’re not into the traditional German fare, the menu also features classic poutine, a yummy Nettle Meadow goat cheese salad, burgers and several seafood options.
It seems like every weekend (and some weeknights), becks host local bands and musicians. They have an enormous outdoor space with firepits and comfy seating so you can chill out and play cornhole during the summer while getting your groove on to local musicians.
