The Adirondack Nationals Car Show returns to Lake George Village in the southern Adirondacks September 10–13, 2026, bringing nearly 1,500 classic cars, hot rods and muscle cars to the grounds of the Fort William Henry Hotel.

Now in its 37th year, the four-day car show transforms Canada Street into a rolling automotive museum — albeit one with considerably more chrome, horsepower and rumble.

Organized by Albany Rods & Kustoms (ARK), the Adirondack Nationals has grown from a gathering of fewer than 300 cars in the late 1980s into one of the East Coast's major classic-car weekends. More than 230 vendors typically join the festivities, while thousands of spectators descend on Lake George for the cars, cruises, awards and unmistakable soundtrack of a village temporarily running on V8s.

What to expect at the Adirondack Nationals Car Show.

The heart of the show is the Show & Shine at Fort William Henry, where polished paint, gleaming chrome and meticulously restored interiors turn the hotel grounds into acres of automotive eye candy.

Friday and Saturday also bring vendors, celebrity appearances in the Carriage House, the Women's Oasis, raffles and shuttle service to the Lake George outlet stores.

Saturday's 4:30 pm awards presentation recognizes more than two dozen categories, including Favorite Corvette, Favorite Mustang, Ladies' Choice, Sheriff's Pick and President's Pick.

Cruisin' on Canada Street in Lake George.

The weekend's signature spectacle arrives after dark.

From 7–10 pm Friday and Saturday, "Cruisin' on Canada Street" sends show cars along Canada Street and Beach Road. Spectators can watch from the sidewalks for free, making the cruise an easy way to experience the Adirondack Nationals without entering the ticketed show grounds.

Even outside cruise hours, Lake George Village becomes part of the show. Classic cars seem to occupy every parking space, side street and restaurant view — a good weekend to appreciate tail fins while waiting for a table.

See at least one evening cruise. The daytime show rewards serious car browsing; Canada Street after sunset delivers the atmosphere, as headlights, chrome and engine noise take over the heart of Lake George Village.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Arrive early Friday or Saturday and, if possible, park once and explore Lake George on foot. There is no dedicated spectator parking lot, and Canada Street closes to through traffic during the evening cruises. Village meters and nearby lots fill quickly on the busiest days.

Fort William Henry is at 48 Canada Street, near I-87 exits 21 and 22. Pets should stay home, and drones are prohibited on Fort William Henry property.

Spectator admission is $20 per person for the entire weekend; children 12 and younger are free. Food vendors operate on the show grounds, while Canada Street restaurants offer plenty of options when it is time to trade horsepower for lunch.

Visitors should check the official Adirondack Nationals website or Facebook page before traveling for schedule changes and event updates.
