The fabulous Friends Lake Inn is once again the site for the Friends of the Chestertown Library annual wine tasting.

Raise a glass for a great cause! The Friends of the Chestertown Library invite you to an elegant afternoon of fine wines, hors d’oeuvres, and community spirit at the 2025 Wine Tasting and Silent Auction, taking place Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the acclaimed Friends Lake Inn in Chestertown, NY.

This beloved annual fundraiser combines the best of Adirondack hospitality with the joy of supporting a vital community resource. Guests will enjoy:

• A curated selection of wines and gourmet hors d’oeuvres

• A silent auction featuring original artwork, photography, and handcrafted items by local artisans as well as gift certificates to favorite local restaurants, shops, and services

• Raffles for themed gift baskets, including:

  • Bird Lovers Basket – perfect for backyard birdwatchers

  • Fine Wine Collection – exceptional vintages and tasting accessories

Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased online, by mail, or in person at the Town of Chester Library in the Municipal Center.
