Celebrate Halloween in Inlet, NY, in the central Adirondacks.

Inlet offers a full evening of Halloween costumes on Friday, October 30, 2026.

The Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, Parade & Party brings families together in this Central Adirondack town for treats, a town-wide procession, and costume judging, with festivities running from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

The free celebration moves between community gathering places, beginning at Inlet Community Church and finishing with a party at the Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services building. It suits families looking for an evening built around dressing up, collecting treats, and joining a small-town parade. Capes have somewhere to be.

Trunk-or-treat starts at Inlet Community Church.

The evening begins at 5:30 pm with trunk-or-treating in the Inlet Community Church parking lot. Families planning to participate in the full celebration should start here before heading to the parade assembly point.

The schedule separates treat collecting from parade line-up, giving attendees two distinct stops to plan around.

Inlet’s Halloween parade assembles at 6:30 pm.

Parade line-up begins at 6:30 pm in the parking lot between Church of the Lakes and St. Anthony’s Church, across from Pedals & Petals. From there, costumed participants parade through town.

That distinction matters: 6:30 pm is the announced assembly time, rather than a confirmed departure time. Families joining specifically for the parade should head to this parking lot.

The procession makes the town itself part of the celebration, linking its churches, streets, and emergency services building in an evening of community Halloween festivities.

Costume judging and a party follow.

After the parade, the celebration continues at the Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services building with costume judging and a party. Organizers say everyone in costume will receive a bag of treats to take home.

The Inlet Youth Commission sponsors the parade and party. Costume categories and judging criteria have not been announced, but dressing up is clearly central to the evening.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Plan around both starting points: Inlet Community Church for trunk-or-treating at 5:30 pm, then the lot between Church of the Lakes and St. Anthony’s Church for parade line-up at 6:30 pm. Knowing which church parking lot serves which activity will make the evening easier to navigate.
