Silver Bay YMCA Conference and Family Retreat Center, on the spectacular north end of Lake George, hosts a plethora of activities all weekend during the Memorial Day holiday.

Choose your adventure at Silver Bay.

All weekend, visitors and day guests can play games like cornhold, badminton, tennis and disc golf, go on a nature scavenger hunt, use the fitness centers, and enjoy Silver Bay’s hiking trails.

Each day offers a full slate of special events, including:

Friday, May 23

• Boathouse Open Hours | 1 pm to 5 pm

• Mountain View Grille | 4 pm to 8 pm; Will Dining Hall Patio (reservations required)

• Trivia Night in the William Boyd Center Board Room | 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Saturday, May 24

• Birding Walk | 8:30 am to 10 am, easy or moderate hike, leaves from inn porch

• Beach Open | 9:30 am to 12 pm, and 1 pm to 4 pm at Slim Point (weather dependent)

• Archery Open |10 am to 12 pm

• Guided Moderate Hike to Inspiration Point |10 am to 12 pm, leaves from the Inn porch, bring water and dress appropriately

• Boathouse Open |1 pm to 4 pm

• Silver Spirit Boat Tours | 1 pm to 2 pm and from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

• Mountain View Grille | 4 pm to 8 pm; WBC Dining Hall Patio (reservations required)

• Memorial Day BBQ | 5:30 pm to 7 pm in front of William Boyd Center Dining Hall

• Free Community Concert | Emma Nissen: 8 pm at the Auditorium

• Fireworks from the ERC Service Road | 9 pm to 9:30 pm

• Campfire & S'mores | 9 pm to 10 pm, Watson Lawn

Sunday, May 25

• Sunday Service |10 am to 11 am at the chapel

• Archery Open |10 am to 12 pm

• Climbing Wall Open |10 am to 12 pm at Fisher Gym

• Beach Open |1 p.m. to 4:30 pm at Slim Point (weather dependent)

• Family Field Day |1 pm to 2 pm on Collins Lawn with face painting, carnival games, horseshoes, cornhole, shuffleboard, disc golf, water balloon toss, egg relay race, watermelon eating contest

• Boathouse Open Hours | 2 pm to 5 pm

• Silver Spirit Boat Tours | 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm and 4 pm to 5 pm

• Stargazing & Constellation Walk |9 pm to10 pm, Inn South Porch

Monday the 26th:

• Memorial Day Remembrance Salute | 7 am to 7:15 am at the Flagpole

• Morning Hike & Stretch |8 am to 10 am, leaves from the Flagpole, hike to Inspiration Point
