The Lake George Arts Project Summer Concert Series presents Tops of Trees on Thursday, July 23, at 7 PM in Shepard Park. This free concert is open to everyone.

Tops of Trees is an original Rock & Soul ensemble from upstate New York that is quickly making a name for themselves in the Capital Region. Their sound is built on a strong foundation of drums and bass, classic organ, powerful vocals, and an unshakeable horn section.

The band continues to thrill audiences with high-energy performances and a modern interpretation of soulful music rooted in early R&B, funk, and soul.

In 2023, Tops of Trees released their debut EP, “The Tree House Sessions,” which quickly gained attention on WEXT, WEQX, and Unsigned 518. Their music resonated with listeners, earning them a spot on WEXT's local songs of the year and consecutive nominations for the Capital Region Thomas Edison Award (The Eddie’s) in the “Jam Band of the Year” category.

Since then, the band has continued to rise in popularity, sharing the stage with well-known artists such as Blues Traveler, Joan Osborne, and Ben Folds. WMHT’s PBS show, “AHA!” featured the band.

Tops of Trees has delivered electrifying performances at various venues, including Cohoes Music Hall, Putnam Place, Jive Hive Live, and the Saratoga Springs New Year’s Eve Festival. Throughout their journey, they have performed alongside the Robert Randolph Band, Sqwerv, Suke Cerulo Band, and The Pat McGee Band.
