Adirondack Health is excited to host its 16th annual 5K Turkey Trot/Run, a delightful tradition taking place on Thanksgiving morning at the picturesque Beach House on Mirror Lake.
Trot like a turkey.
This lively, family-friendly event features a beautifully flat 5K course that winds around the shores of stunning Mirror Lake, providing a scenic backdrop for participants of all ages.
Kick off your Thanksgiving Day with an invigorating run or leisurely walk that brings the whole family together.
The Turkey Trot organizers will celebrate exceptional athletes by awarding prizes to the top three male and female finishers, adding a competitive yet joyous spirit to the occasion.
For those eager for a fun twist, there’s the chance to “stuff the turkey”—beat the elusive mystery Turkey Runner to the finish line! Not only does this offer bragging rights at your Thanksgiving table, but it also comes with a delectable reward.
Every registered participant will proudly receive an Adirondack Health-designed Turkey Trot long-sleeved T-shirt, a perfect memento of this special day.
In the true spirit of giving, all proceeds from the event will support local food pantries and Adirondack Health's Fit for Life Scholarship Fund.
