2025 Turkey Trot in Tupper Lake on Thanksgiving Day

Join the 12th annual fun run celebrating the life of Erin Farkas Dewyea.

The Kiwanis Club of Tupper Lake and the Tupper Lake Recreation Department present the 12th Annual Erin Farkas Dewyea Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day.

Get into the holiday spirit by participating in the 5K Turkey Trot, an exciting event that benefits youth in the Tupper Lake community.

Whether you are an experienced runner or just looking for a fun walk to warm up before your holiday festivities, this is a great way to pre-game before your Thanksgiving feast.

All proceeds will support Tupper Lake youth through Kiwanis service projects, scholarships for education, sports, and other youth programs.

Check-in begins at 8:30 AM on Thanksgiving Day, and the race starts at 9:00 AM.

Meet at the Tupper Lake Train Station.

Come dressed in your most festive costume and enjoy a morning filled with excitement. After the race, enjoy a chance to win amazing prizes.

Event organizers ask that participants bring an unwrapped toy as a donation to Castle of Toys (each donor will receive a free raffle ticket for the basket drawing of their choice). 

And don’t miss the pre-registration and basket raffle event kick-off will take place at Raquette River Brewery the evening before the Trot from 5pm-8pm!
