Cambridge 2025 Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K

Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving with a burst of energy at the Cambridge Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K. This exciting event will take place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the charming town of Cambridge, located in Washington County on the southern edge of the Adirondacks.

This annual event promises a morning filled with fun, community spirit, and exercise as you navigate a scenic course starting at the historic Coila Church on State Route 372.

Runners will enjoy a picturesque route through Old Coila Road and downtown Cambridge, passing the iconic old Cambridge Hotel before returning to the church for a festive finish.

Not only will you get your run in, but you will also be supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the race will go to the Cambridge Food Pantry, helping to provide essential goods to community members in need as winter approaches.

Participants can look forward to post-race snacks and beverages. With convenient packet pickup options available on the evening before and the morning of the race, you can ensure a smooth start to your Thanksgiving celebration.

Over the last three years, the organizers have been proud to donate 100% of registration profits to the Cambridge Food Pantry, the CVRS (Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad), and the Cambridge Fuel Fund. This year, they will be utilizing all funds to support the Cambridge Food Pantry.
