The Bitters and Bones Turkey Trot in Saranac Lake is not your average run-of-the-mill Thanksgiving Day cardio fest.

Get ready for a month-long virtual showdown that culminates in a Thanksgiving Day race worthy of a turkey trot-tastic celebration! The organizers make it near impossible to back out, so lace up those sneakers!

During the first few weeks of November, you get to pick your poison: run on city streets, conquer country roads, or navigate those gnarly trails. Just remember to tally up those miles—no one wants to end up on the naughty list!

Then, come Thanksgiving morning, join the crowd for a jolly 5K romp through downtown Saranac Lake, complete with snacks, auctions, and an awesome crew of family, friends, and honorary family members. Get ready to earn that extra slice of pie.

Gear up for the 2025 Bitters & Bones Turkey Trot, where you can strut your stuff for two amazing local Adirondack causes: the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry and the Saranac Lake Student Needs Fund.
