Get Lost! Corn Mazes in the Adirondacks

Where to find a fall adventure among the stalks.

Adirondack Corn Mazes

Two paths diverged in a corn maze....

Updated October 16, 2026. Check each attraction’s website before traveling for weather closures, admission information, and schedule changes.

Corn mazes in the Adirondacks offer several ways to lose your bearings: follow Revolutionary War clues beside Lake Champlain, explore an orchard’s seasonal puzzle in Peru, or head to a farm near Saranac Lake. For those who prefer their wrong turns accompanied by a fright, there’s also a haunted option just south of the region.

The settings—and the experiences—vary. Some mazes fit neatly into a day of sightseeing or orchard shopping; others become the main event. Here are four places to consider, with current-season details where confirmed.

Fort Ticonderoga’s Heroic Corn Maze.

At Fort Ticonderoga, getting lost comes with a history lesson. The six-acre Heroic Corn Maze on the shores of Lake Champlain weaves American Revolution stories into its paths and puzzles.

The 2026 Maze Quest, “Great Journeys of the Revolution,” explores six journeys from 1775 and 1776, including scouting missions to Montreal and the transport of artillery to Boston. It’s a particularly fitting challenge for America’s 250th anniversary.

Visitors can start with a smaller section that takes approximately 20 minutes before attempting the main maze, which typically takes about 40 minutes.

The maze is included with general admission and operates Tuesday through Sunday through October 25, 2026, from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Last entry is at 4 pm. Fort Ticonderoga notes that the maze is not wheelchair accessible and may close during lightning or heavy rain.

Rulfs Orchard’s corn maze in Peru.

Rulfs Orchard gives visitors to the northeastern Adirondacks a straightforward fall outing: a daytime corn maze, with the orchard’s bakery and farm store offering good reasons to linger afterward.

The 2026 maze celebrates America’s 250th anniversary and runs through October 31. Daytime hours are 10 am to 4 pm, seven days a week, with the last tickets sold at 3 pm.

Admission costs $9 for ages 13 and older and $7 for children ages 4–12; children 3 and younger enter free. Tickets are sold on the day of your visit, at the maze booth on weekends or in the store during the week.

For an after-dark variation, Rulfs offers non-haunted Flashlight Nights on October 17 and 24, 2026, from 5 to 9 pm, with last admission at 8 pm. Bring a flashlight and review the orchard’s supervision requirements before attending with anyone under 18.

The Great Adirondack Corn Maze at Tucker Farms in Gabriels.

Near Paul Smiths and Saranac Lake, Tucker Farms is home to the Great Adirondack Corn Maze. Its farm setting makes it a natural consideration for visitors exploring the northern Adirondacks.

The maze has featured changing designs over the years, giving returning visitors a different puzzle to tackle. Before planning a trip, confirm this season’s operating dates, admission prices, and any evening events directly with the farm.

Schuyler Farms in Schuylerville: a southern detour.

In the Adirondack Park foothills, Schuyler Farms in Schuylerville offers a seven-acre corn maze for travelers approaching the region through the Saratoga area. Its 2026 design also celebrates America’s 250th anniversary.

Daytime visits offer the traditional maze experience. On Friday and Saturday evenings in October, the farm’s Field of Screams haunted maze supplies a considerably less peaceful route through the corn. Check the separate daytime and haunted admission options before booking.

Fall events in the Adirondacks.

Before heading into the corn.

Wear sturdy shoes, dress for changing temperatures, and allow time before the last admission cutoff. Field conditions can change after rain, and evening programs may have different tickets or supervision rules.

Choose your maze, check the day’s schedule, and leave a little room for a wrong turn. For once, that’s part of the itinerary.
