Tupper Lake’s The Woodshed on Park: An Adirondack Culinary All-Star
This is one woodshed you won’t mind being taken to.

Let’s cut to the chase: The Woodshed on Park is an excellent addition to the Tupper Lake and Tri-Lakes dining scene. It's conveniently located near Tupper Lake’s town center and is definitely worth a visit.
A Tupper Lake culinary homecoming
Husband-and-wife team Evan Sloan and Siobhan Spencer are veterans of the New York City dining scene. When the pandemic hit, they started exploring Plan B. Ultimately, they settled in Tupper Lake, but they are no “Johnny Come Lately” interlopers in the Adirondacks; Evan grew up in Tupper Lake, and he and Siobhan worked at the Tupper Lake Country Club from 2008 to 2009. (You can read more about their story here.)

They found a vacant property in the middle of Tupper Lake that, decades earlier, was a Red Barn restaurant. As fate would have it, Evan worked there as a teen.
Today, the two have magically transformed the building into a stylish French-Canadian-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar. The vibe is cozy, speakeasy-chic, with warm lighting and intimate booths and tables. The super-friendly staff makes everyone feel welcome and provides outstanding service from start to finish.
The food is the star at this jewel in the Adirondacks.
The charming atmosphere, good location in town, and fantastic cocktails, though, can’t compete with the restaurant's star attraction: its food, expertly crafted by Chef Evan. He aims to prepare as much as possible in-house, including baking fresh bread daily (even the burger buns), making stocks and sauces from scratch, and crafting fresh Ricotta cheese (a highlight on the “Snacks” section of the menu). The Woodshed features local Adirondack Park food producers on the menu, as well.
Expertly prepared entrees are the star at The Woodshed on Park.
Speaking of the menu, it’s no surprise that it’s seasonal and changes frequently, with a mix of snacks, small plates, and larger plates. The menu is not extensive, but we believe that’s a hallmark of a disciplined chef emphasizing quality over quantity.
As we write this, the current menu features small plates such as Celeriac Bisque, Fried Brussels Sprouts and a Baby Salad with Golden Raisin Vinaigrette and Dukkah & Meier’s Raclette Cheese.
Larger plates include a delectable Fried Chicken, Skillet Chicken and Biscuits, The Woodshed Burger, and Steak Au Poivre.
They also have regular nightly specials based on what’s fresh and available currently. And, of course, homemade desserts.
Expertly hand-crafted cocktails, anyone?
We would be remiss if we didn’t recognize and give praise to The Woodshed on Park’s cocktail artistry.
Expertly-crafted cocktails are also stars.
Their drinks menu includes many of our favorite classics, such as Old Fashioned, Negroni, and Bee’s Knees, alongside an inventive array of specialty cocktails.
It made it difficult to choose – but, again, this is the kind of problem we are happy to solve.
Great food, delicious drinks, and outstanding service; Seems like a homerun to us.

And by all means, make sure The Woodshed on Park is on your to-do list in Tupper Lake.
