Acclaimed Chamber Orchestra Performs in North Creek

Tannery Pond Center’s 2025 Summer Concert Series will feature the Lake Placid Sinfonietta on Thursday, July 24, at 7:30 PM. 

The Lake Placid Sinfonietta is a professional summer chamber orchestra made up of 20 top musicians from across the country, under the direction of Tony Award-winning conductor Stuart Malina.

Many of these musicians hold leadership or principal roles in other prestigious orchestras. The concert series is the centerpiece of the Sinfonietta's six-week season, taking place this year at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.

In addition to this upcoming performance scheduled in North Creek at the Tannery Pond Center, the Lake Placid Sinfonietta will also perform at Tupper Lake at The Wild Center and in Saranac Lake at the Hotel Saranac.

Established in 1917, the Lake Placid Sinfonietta is proud to have been a community-supported non-profit for the last 40 years.
