Old Forge's 2025 Snodeo Kicks Off Snowmobile Season This December

This free, family-friendly event marks the official kickoff to snowmobile season in the Central Adirondacks and promises two days packed with exciting activities, displays, and winter fun.

For nearly five decades, Snodeo has been a cornerstone of Old Forge's winter calendar, bringing together snowmobile enthusiasts, families, and community members to celebrate the start of riding season. This year's event continues that proud tradition with an impressive lineup of activities and attractions that appeal to seasoned riders and curious newcomers alike.

The event runs Friday, December 12, from 3pm to 7pm, and Saturday, December 13, from 10am to 6pm. Best of all, entry is completely free, making it an accessible outing for the whole family.
