The 56th Schroon Lake Arts and Crafts Fair returns to Schroon Lake Town Park in the Adirondacks on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10 am – 4 pm.
This beloved Adirondack arts and crafts fair transforms the lakeside park into an open-air marketplace overlooking Schroon Lake, where visitors can browse handmade goods, enjoy local food, and support an organization dedicated to protecting one of the region's most treasured lakes.
For more than half a century, the fair has drawn travelers from across the Adirondacks, including nearby Ticonderoga, Lake George, and the Northway corridor. There are larger fairs in the Northeast, certainly. Few, however, offer a backdrop quite like this—white sails drifting across the water while shoppers debate whether they really need another handcrafted cutting board. (The answer, of course, is usually yes.)

A day of shopping tends to work up an appetite, and the Schroon Lake Lions Club will once again answer the call with classic fair fare, drinks, and plenty of Adirondack hospitality. Additional food vendors are expected this year, making lunch with a lake view part of the experience.
The atmosphere is equal parts community gathering and summer tradition. Visitors can expect the scent of grilled favorites mingling with fresh mountain air, punctuated by the occasional delighted gasp over a particularly beautiful piece of pottery or jewelry.

Profits from the fair help fund efforts to protect and preserve Schroon Lake, including scientific water studies, invasive species monitoring, milfoil harvesting, participation in the Citizens Statewide Lake Assessment Program (CSLAP), and consulting services from a certified lake manager.

One of the fair's perennial highlights is the Schroon Lake Association's Silent Auction, open from 10 am – 3:45 pm.
