High energy rock and roll at Wilmington Mountain Music Festival.

The Wilmington Mountain Music Festival returns to the Adirondacks on Saturday, July 25, 2026, transforming the Wilmington Ball Park in Wilmington, NY, into an all-day celebration of live music, local food, and mountain-town hospitality.

Running from 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm, this family-friendly music festival pairs tribute rock, country favorites, and North Country legends with food trucks, local beer, and plenty of room to spread out under an Adirondack summer sky.

Just minutes from Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain, Wilmington has long embraced its role as one of the Adirondacks' most welcoming small towns. The festival continues that tradition with an easygoing atmosphere that invites visitors to linger long after the sun dips behind the peaks.

A soundtrack for a summer Saturday.

This year's lineup covers plenty of musical ground.

Headlining the day is Toys in the Attic, an Aerosmith tribute band that leans fully into the swagger of Steven Tyler and company. Expect crowd favorites like "Walk This Way," "Dream On," and "Sweet Emotion," complete with the look, sound, and arena-rock energy that made Aerosmith legendary.

Country fans can catch Jamie Lee Thurston, whose blend of traditional country and Southern rock feels right at home in the mountains. Meanwhile, Potsdam's Double Axel celebrates more than five decades of performing classic rock across the North Country—a remarkable run that speaks to the enduring appeal of a good guitar riff and a packed dance floor.

Closing out the evening, Adrenaline Overdrive promises a high-energy set packed with hits from the 1980s and beyond.

Family fun in Wilmington.

The Wilmington Mountain Music Festival isn't just for concertgoers.

Families will find plenty to keep younger attendees entertained throughout the day. Sammy of Vestopia Hoops will be onsite with face painting, hula hoops, ribbons, and interactive activities designed to keep kids moving between sets.

Children under 10 receive free admission, making the event an affordable option for families spending the weekend in Wilmington, Lake Placid, or the surrounding High Peaks region.

Adirondack food and drink worth arriving hungry for.

Music may take center stage, but the food lineup deserves an encore.

Festivalgoers can expect smoky barbecue from Two Jerks BBQ, Mexican favorites from Lomeli's Mexican Food, hot dogs from The Dogfather, sweet treats from Mr. Ding-a-Ling, and beverages from ADK Mobile Bars. Local favorites Hex & Hop will also be pouring regional beer and wine, adding another distinctly Adirondack touch to the festivities.

The aromas of barbecue, fried fair food, and summer evenings have a way of making time slow down in the Adirondacks. Add a cold local beverage and live music drifting across the ball field, and the recipe feels just about complete.

Lake Placid and Adirondacks visitors will feel right at home.

For travelers staying in Lake Placid, Whiteface, or Keene, the Wilmington Mountain Music Festival offers an excellent excuse to venture a few miles farther down Route 86.

Wilmington sits at the gateway to some of the Adirondacks' most iconic outdoor attractions, including Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge, and the Ausable River. Visitors can spend the morning hiking or paddling before settling into a lawn chair for an evening of music.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Arrive before 3 pm to claim a good spot on the lawn and come prepared with chairs, blankets, and a light layer for the evening. Adirondack summer days can be warm, but mountain evenings have a habit of reminding visitors who's really in charge.
