Silver Bay YMCA Conference & Family Retreat Center brings back its premier music festival, Bluegrass in Heaven, from September 13 through 15, 2024, on Lake George.

Building on bluegrass success.

Silver Bay’s Mountain Music Festival (Mountain Music Fest) is a mountain music-based festival in the Adirondacks. Located on the shore of Lake George, Mountain Music Fest allows festival goers to enjoy the music the festival has to offer, surrounded by gorgeous scenery.

The festival was originally established in 2023 under its former name, Bluegrass in Heaven, as a way to bring more bluegrass music to the area. It underwent a rebrand after the 2024 festival in an effort to expand the musical repertoire at the event.

Unlike other Bluegrass festivals, all the concert venues at Mountain Music Fest are indoor locations, in historic venues, allowing for festival goers to enjoy the music while being protected from the elements. Mountain Music Fest is also proud to offer on-site lodging in the form of cottages and hotel-style accommodations.
