Ticonderoga’s 2nd Annual Fly In
The Town of Ticonderoga will hold the second annual Ticonderoga Fly-In on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Ticonderoga Municipal Airport on Shore-Airport Road.
This family-friendly event will feature exhibitions, demonstrations, aircraft displays, food trucks, important airport information, and more. In case of rain, the organizers have scheduled a rain date for Sunday, June 15, and updates will be posted on the Town of Ticonderoga's Facebook page.

The Fly-In showcases the improvements and investments made at the airport and highlights future plans. The event appeals to community members as well as visitors to the area.
Building on the success of last year’s event
Tom Thatcher, a Town of Ticonderoga Board Member and Airport Committee representative, remarked, “We’re excited to bring back the Fly-In for a second year, and we’ve added new features that we believe the community will enjoy.”
Thatcher observed, “Last year, kids had a great time building their own paper airplanes, and this year, we’re introducing a launch zone where they can test them out in a designated grassy area. It’s a fun way to engage families and spark curiosity about aviation.”

Mark Wright, the Town of Ticonderoga Supervisor, stated, "I highly encourage residents and visitors to attend this fun-filled annual event and become familiar with our incredible airport, which has a history dating back to 1939. Ticonderoga is fortunate to have such a valuable transportation facility. Our municipal airport is one of the factors that make Ticonderoga an attractive place to live, work, invest, and play."
