2025 Whiteface Mountain Uphill Bike Race
Ascend 3,500 feet over a distance of 8 miles to reach the summit of New York's fifth-highest peak.

Looking for a challenge this June? The Whiteface Uphill Bike Race may be for you. This year, the race takes place on Saturday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m.
Climb 3,500 feet over 8 miles up the scenic Whiteface Mountain Veterans' Memorial Highway to the top of New York’s 5th highest peak for a 360° panoramic view of the Adirondacks, New England and Canada.
This year's race starts promptly at 5:30 pm. The race begins in the center of Wilmington at the Whiteface Visitors Bureau on Route 86,. Staging will begin at 4:45 pm.
Compete on one, two or three wheels.

The race starts at the Visitors Bureau in Wilmington.
Packet pickup and parking will be from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Preston Festival Field on Springfield Road, Wilmington (just around the corner from the starting line). The packet includes the bib, t-shirt, and meal voucher.
Event organizers will sell spectator passes at registration. These are cash only and at a per-person price. All spectators must be at the top of the mountain before the race begins.

Helmets are required.
At the end of the race, each participant is responsible for transportation down the mountain. Riding back down is at your own risk, following pacing marshals. A minimum of two brakes is required.
Organizers recommend bug-repellent and warm clothing for the summit.
Entrants are responsible for their own fluid needs during the race. Organizers will not provide aid stations along the route.
The race fee includes a post-race meal voucher for local restaurants.
