The Barking Spider in North Creek Near Gore Mountain
Every town needs a late-night spot. Thankfully this place is also open early afternoon, too.
If you’re in North Creek and looking for a late-night dining option, you might think you’re S.O.L. In fact, in most towns in the ADK, after 9 pm, there are few, if any, places open, and definitely not on a school night.
The Barking Spider, euphemisms aside, in North Creek, NY, is not only a fun place if you are looking for a beer or cocktail and a bite to eat with some local flavor, but it’s also the place to be when you’re out late and need some sustenance.
Travel north on Main Street, and just before you hit the historic train depot, you’ll find the Barking Spider on the right in an unassuming tidy white building. You'll likely be greeted with warm hospitality and friendly service when you walk through the door.
Place your order from a wide selection of beers on tap, in bottles or cans, to well-made cocktails. Plenty of satisfying options are on the menu if you're hungry or late-night hangry.
Savory burgers, sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, burritos and more, the folks at the Spider serve the vittles you crave. Their specialties include classic chili cheese fries and the signature 'Barking Spider' Burger – a must-try.
Barking Spider has no official FaceBook page, Instagram profile or website, so we usually check their hours on Google and then call. The posted hours are seven days a week, from 1 pm to 2 am, but best to call first and check.
