On our first visit to Lisa G’s in Lake Placid, the staff made us feel so at home, and we enjoyed the food so much that we now try to stop in whenever we are in Lake Placid.

Lisa G’s serves up classic American comfort food. Starters include their famous wings (we are fans of the lemon pepper dry rub), Pork Verde nachos, and a delicious broiled feta cheese with a spicy brown sugar marinade.
The menu features a variety of burger options, salads, shrimp tacos, sandwiches, fried chicken and fried fish. Lisa G also makes thin crusty pizzas. We are intrigued by the blueberry & bacon pizza -- oil, garlic, blueberries, bacon, arugula, balsamic onions, basil, spicy honey, goat cheese, and mozzarella, on a gluten-free crust -- but haven’t sampled it yet. Too many other things we love!
A select number of larger plates are available at suppertime. Lil ADKers get their own menu, too. Mac-n-cheese, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, pasta and burgers are on offer.
The restaurant is spacious, bright and attractive. They have a deck and patio and welcome your furry friends there.
