2025 Flannel Fest Returns to The Barrel in Bolton Landing

One of the Lake George area’s favorite holiday kickoff events is returning for its fourth year. Flannel Fest 2025 takes place on Saturday, December 6th, from 2:00 to 10 pm at The Barrel, the winter restaurant for Blue Water Manor in Bolton Landing. This family-friendly afternoon celebration promises festive activities, delicious treats, and plenty of holiday cheer for all ages.

Fun for the whole family at Flannel Fest 2025.

The event transforms The Barrel into a winter wonderland packed with entertainment and activities designed for the whole family. Little ones can meet Santa Claus for photos, encounter The Grinch, and visit with Santa's Elves. Multiple craft stations will keep young hands busy with coloring, ornament making, and creating reindeer food to leave out on Christmas Eve. Kids can also write letters to Santa and participate in a special scavenger hunt.

Active children will love the outdoor games, including rooftop toss, tree cone ring toss, Christmas-themed bounce houses, and giant Jenga. The event also features open curling and igloo experiences, plus the special attraction of an excavator and dump truck decorated with festive lights.

Food, drinks, and entertainment.

Adults can warm up at the hot cocoa and coffee bar while sampling local craft beverages from ADK Brewery, Empire Liquors, Common Roots, and Southern Liquors. Throughout the afternoon, a DJ will provide entertainment inside The Barrel, keeping the festive atmosphere lively. Sweet treats include complimentary popcorn and cotton candy for attendees to enjoy.

Supporting the local community

Flannel Fest isn't just about holiday fun—it's about giving back to the Bolton Landing community. The event features a 50/50 raffle with proceeds benefiting the Bolton Central School Backpack Program, ensuring local students have access to nutritious food. The raffle winner will be announced just before the tree lighting ceremony. Additionally, 50% of all event profits will be donated to ADK Operation Santa Claus, helping spread holiday joy to families in need throughout the Adirondacks.

Evening festivities continue.

The celebration continues with a community tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 pm, featuring Christmas carols by the Captain & O'Neil Band. From 7:00 to 10:00 pm, the band continues with live music inside The Barrel, creating the perfect atmosphere for adults to relax after a fun-filled afternoon.

The weekend festivities don't end with Flannel Fest! On Sunday, December 7th, from 10 am to 1 pm, The Barrel hosts Brunch with Santa, offering families another opportunity to create special holiday memories.
