Stepping into Bandstand Brew Works, one feels immediately welcome. The spacious interior, a mix of rustic Adirondack influences and contemporary design, is inviting and sophisticated. Overlooking the heart of Warrensburg, the space offers a front-row seat to the town’s seasonal events, from the World’s Largest Garage Sale to festive holiday parades.
Music often fills the air, a nod to the bandstand’s namesake, creating an ambiance that’s as much about community as it is about craftsmanship.
The craft: beer that tells a story.
Bandstand Brewery's heart is its rotating lineup of meticulously crafted beers. Each brew draws inspiration from the Adirondacks’ bounty and Warrensburg’s rich heritage. They are a liquid homage to the area’s landscape, history, and local ingredients.
Over several visits, we had the opportunity to sample a variety of their brews. Standouts include:
Craft your own beer flights at Bandstand Brew Works.
“Eleven Churches,” a flagship beer named for Warrensburg’s 11 houses of worship. It’s a delightfully refreshing farmhouse ale that is citrus-forward, crisp, and slightly sweet. It’s a definite thirst quencher.
“Sip Happens” is a traditional scotch ale that is dark, rich, and heady with delicious caramel undertones.
“Vending Machine Dreams” is not a traditional beer; this delightful raspberry sour hard seltzer was a winner with our crew.
“Elevator Operator,” a traditional New England IPA. Brew Works menu describes it as hazy, citrusy, and dry-hopped. Who are we to disagree?
In addition to their delectable brews, Bandstand Brew Works also offers “BYO Bubbly,” champagne-style hard seltzers. You can mix and match your preferred combo of flavors—wild berry, raspberry, key lime, orange, blood orange, peach, sour cherry, and yuzu. It was so nice that we had it twice: a combo of raspberry and key lime followed by the blood orange.
Beyond the beer: elevated pub fare.
While Bandstand Brew Works is making a name based on its brews, the food menu deserves equal recognition. The culinary offerings are an extension of the brewery’s ethos: locally inspired, seasonally driven, and expertly executed.
They offer a Giant Bavarian Pretzel with house-made beer cheese and pub mustard dips. It’s a must-try starter.
The All American Burger, featuring beef from local butcher Meat Store of The North and a selection of toppings, including Oscar’s bacon, was also a big hit with our crowd.
Don’t miss the delicious Bavarian pretzel.
Other standouts include the roast pork Cubano Sandwich, the brie grilled cheese, the gyro, and a delicious chili.
Brew Works serves its sandwiches and burgers with crispy, housemade potato chips, which customers can also substitute for fries or cole slaw. Trust us; the chips are excellent.
Also on the menu, but we haven’t tried yet, are beef, chicken and fish tacos, a delicious-sounding mac and beer cheese bowl, and big plates that include chicken pot pie, grilled salmon, twelve-hour Kansas City-style ribs, and steak frites.
A place for gathering.
Bandstand Brewery isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a community hub. Weekly trivia nights draw friendly competition, while live music and karaoke events feature talented local artists. The brewery celebrates seasonal beer releases with special events that bring together beer aficionados and curious newcomers.
