2025 Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival

Participate in the marathon, half-marathon or relays around Schroon Lake, and 5K and 10K in Chestertown.

Are you ready for an exciting weekend full of activities that will leave you breathless?

The 29th annual Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival is set to take place September 27 and 28, 2025. Over two days, competitors will have the chance to participate in several races in Schroon Lake and in Chestertown.

Thrilling events for runners and spectators.

On Saturday, participate in the 5K and 10K in Chestertown, or bring your Lil’ ADKers along for the Kids’ Fun Run in Schroon Lake.

The big events on Sunday are the Marathon, Half Marathon, and the 4-person Marathon Relay will take place around the picturesque 9-mile-long Schroon Lake on Sunday.

After the race on Sunday, you can head to the finish area and enjoy some refreshing drinks from Paradox Brewery to celebrate your fantastic achievement.
