Adirondack Rail Trail First Day Hike 2026 with ARTA
Ease into the New Year with a scenic winter stroll along the Adirondack Rail Trail. Hosted by the Adirondack Rail Trail Association, this First Day Hike features wide-open views across the Lake Colby Causeway.

What to expect.
This 5-mile walk follows a flat, well-maintained rail trail with no elevation gain. The trail is ADA accessible, though winter conditions may affect surface conditions.
