For five days in September, European automotive culture takes to the Adirondack mountain roads. ADK EuroFest returns September 23–27, 2026, bringing scenic cruises, enthusiast gatherings and a curated European car show to Lake Placid and the High Peaks, with Saturday’s main event moving to the Olympic Ski Jumps.

This is not simply a park-the-Porsche-and-polish-it kind of car show. ADK EuroFest is built around driving—putting distinctive European cars on Adirondack roads and giving their owners reasons to explore the communities along them.

Five days of driving the Adirondacks.

ADK EuroFest began as an annual cruise from Syracuse to the summit of Whiteface Mountain. It has since grown into a five-day destination event, but that original road-trip DNA remains firmly intact.

The festival opens Wednesday, September 23, with Stammtisch, a welcome gathering inspired by the European tradition of friends gathering around a shared table.

Thursday and Friday turn the High Peaks into the event grounds. Cruises and pop-up meets send participants through Lake Placid and surrounding Adirondack communities, with scheduled stops at local businesses and destinations along the way.

That roaming format sets EuroFest apart from a conventional automotive weekend. The cars are attractions, certainly, but so are the roads, fall foliage and places discovered between stops.

ADK EuroFest takes over the Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumps.

Saturday, September 26 brings The Show, the centerpiece of ADK EuroFest, to the Olympic Ski Jumps for the first time.

The invitational show features a curated field ranging from classic and vintage European automobiles to modern performance cars and modified builds. Spectators can wander among the vehicles while one of Lake Placid’s signature Olympic landmarks rises behind them—a considerably more interesting backdrop than an asphalt parking lot.

Spectator admission is free. Vehicle passes and applications are available through the official ADK EuroFest website.

The setting gets the nod. European automotive design and Lake Placid’s Olympic architecture are an unusually good pairing, and the move to the Ski Jumping Complex gives the 2026 show a strong sense of place.

Alpine Cars & Coffee heads toward Whiteface Mountain.

Sunday, September 27 begins early with Alpine Cars & Coffee, centered around the Whiteface Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway and surrounding landscape. It is an appropriately Adirondack finale: coffee, cars and a mountain road before much of the world has finished breakfast.

Car enthusiasts are the obvious audience, but the Saturday show also offers an easy entry point for spectators who simply appreciate design, engineering or seeing unusual automobiles in an unusual setting.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Visitors primarily interested in seeing the cars should prioritize Saturday’s show at the Olympic Ski Jumps. Those looking for the full EuroFest experience should follow the official schedule for Thursday and Friday; the moving gatherings provide a chance to see both the cars and more of the Adirondacks.

Schedules and individual event details may change, so check ADK EuroFest for current times, tickets, vehicle applications and updates before heading out.
