Magic comes to the lakeshore.

Families will want to arrive early for one of the day's most entertaining highlights.

From 6:30–7:30 pm, magician Jim Snack roams the Rogers Park hillside performing close-up magic and surprising audiences throughout the park. His interactive style makes everyone feel like part of the show before he takes the stage for a full performance from 7:30–8:15 pm at the bandstand.

It's the kind of old-fashioned summer entertainment that feels perfectly at home in the Adirondacks.

Parking fills quickly on the Fourth of July. Arrive before mid-afternoon if possible, spend time browsing Bolton Landing's shops and cafés, then claim a spot on the Rogers Park lawn well before sunset. Staying a little longer after the fireworks helps avoid the post-show traffic as people leave town.
