Halloween in Ticonderoga stretches well beyond one night of candy collecting.

HalloweenFest returns October 23–31, 2026, bringing pumpkin displays, the Adirondack Dancing Witches, haunted trails, and downtown trick-or-treating to this Adirondack community, with additional events in Crown Point and Silver Bay.

Organized by the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce and Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, the annual celebration unfolds across parks, farms, historic sites and local businesses. Families can follow the gentler festivities; visitors with a taste for ghost stories have several darker options.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Make October 24’s Witches and Pumpkin Walk the centerpiece of a family visit. The Crown Point history walk overlaps that evening’s park festivities, so choose a priority rather than trying to catch everything.
