Brunetto’s Restaurant in Warrensburg

Cozy fine dining in the Lake George area of the Adirondack Park.

We recently rediscovered Brunetto's just south of Warrensburg on Route 9. It's become one of our favorite spots for dinner year-round. The ambiance is cozy and casual in their wood-paneled, window-lined, L-shaped dining room.

The real star here is the food. The menu changes almost nightly, so you can be sure they are serving the freshest ingredients. We especially like the many fish and seafood options, which is not the usual fare in most restaurants in the region.

The sea scallops, yellowfin tuna, and salmon with dill sauce were big standouts on recent visits. Papa Bear raved about the grilled Tuscan flank steak served with a delicious pesto.

The menu also offers a variety of salads and appetizers. We generally share a Ceasar salad (with the anchovies, please) as the entrees are generous, and we want to enjoy every bite. Brunetto's handcrafted cocktails are excellent, as well.

Reservations are highly recommended. Check their Facebook page for the nightly menu. One note: if you’re using GPS to drive there, Brunetto’s is technically in Lake George, even though it’s on the outskirts of Warrensburg.
