Mt. Arab First Day Hike & Fire Tower Climb Near Tupper Lake

Ring in the New Year from a fire tower. This guided First Day Hike up Mt. Arab offers classic Adirondack views over Tupper Lake, Eagle Crag Lake, and the surrounding wilderness.

What to know before you go.

This 2-mile round-trip hike gains about 750 feet and includes short, steep sections. At the summit, hikers can climb the 40-foot fire tower for panoramic winter views.

• Snowshoes or microspikes may be required.

• Bring water, snacks, extra layers, and a camera

• All ages welcome

• Pets allowed on leash
