Experience the Magic: "Wicked: For Good" at Adirondack State Theater in Tupper Lake
Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande return as Elphaba and Glinda in “Wicked: For Good.”
The highly anticipated conclusion to one of Broadway's most beloved stories arrives at the Adirondack State Theater in Tupper Lake this holiday season. "Wicked: For Good" will enchant audiences from November 21 through December 11, 2025, offering the perfect opportunity to experience this cinematic spectacle in the heart of the Adirondacks.
Directed by Jon M. Chu, "Wicked: For Good" picks up where the first film left off, following Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) as she lives in exile as the demonized Wicked Witch of the West, continuing her fight for Animal rights while desperately trying to expose the truth about the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum).
Meanwhile, Glinda (Ariana Grande) has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness throughout Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City and preparing to marry Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey).
Haunted by their separation and caught between their diverging paths, the two former friends must ultimately come together one final time when Dorothy Gale arrives from Kansas and sets events in motion that will change Oz forever.
“Wicked: For Good” opens in theaters nationwide (and in Tupper Lake) on November 21.
The film adapts the second act of the stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman, featuring both beloved songs from the original production and two new compositions written specifically for the film: "No Place Like Home" and "The Girl in the Bubble."
