Well Dressed Food in Tupper Lake
Tastefully (and tasty) casual cafe that satisfies any cravings all day long.
We found ourselves in downtown Tupper Lake around lunchtime, a few days before Thanksgiving. It was a bright, beautiful day but bitterly cold as a biting wind whipped across Park Street, swirling the recent snowfall into mini-tornados up and down the block.
We happened upon Well Dressed Food and quickly dove in, immediately thanking our lucky stars for guiding us there.
This warm and inviting cafe in the Adirondack Tri-lakes & High Peaks region offers an impressive variety of dishes on its menu, featuring influences from around the world. Options include Greek Salad with feta, black olives, tomatoes, and cucumbers on a bed of romaine lettuce, flatbread pizzas, falafel with tzatziki or in a wrap, quesadillas, a variety of panini, and their signature burger topped with smoked gouda.
We split a generous bowl of chili with delicious homemade bread and their signature London Broil Panino with Boar’s Head roast beef, arugula, tomatoes and horseradish mayo.
They have an impressive selection of locally crafted beers on tap and a robust wine list. Check Well Dressed Food’s Instagram feed or Facebook page for specials. And don’t forget to save room for dessert. They offer a variety of mouth-watering pastries and cakes that satisfy any sweet tooth.
Well Dressed Food is also a deli, espresso bar, and specialty food market. They open at 9 am and offer a variety of bagels and breakfast options. Deli meats and cheeses are Boar’s Head, and all their breads are baked in-house.
Well Dressed Food is the perfect place for a late breakfast, casual lunch or satisfying dinner, solo or with friends. The friendly staff and delicious fare are sure to make it a delightful experience.
