Glens Falls, a former booming metropolis, is experiencing an incredible rebirth, featuring many great restaurants, boutiques and brewpubs. It’s also home to the Hyde Collection, one of North America’s finest boutique museums.
While not technically in the Adirondack Park, the Saratoga region is a storied resort town that has drawn visitors for over a hundred years. More important, the Battle of Saratoga was a turning point in the Revolutionary War. The American defeat of the superior British army lifted patriot morale, furthered the hope for independence, and helped to secure the foreign support needed to win the war and the site of the Revolutionary War’s most important battles.
