Halloween in Lake Placid, NY, is an exciting annual celebration that draws in locals and visitors alike. This year, the Adirondacks’ Famous All-Day Halloween Festival on October 31, 2024, promises an unforgettable experience filled with fun and festivities.

Kick off the day with the thrilling Halloween Parade on Main Street at noon, where you’ll see an incredible array of ghosts, goblins, and other imaginative costumes. This family-friendly parade is a must-see, starting at The High Peaks Resort and concluding at the James C. Sheffield Olympic Oval.
At 3 pm, it’s time for the Lil’ ADKers to shine with trick-or-treating on Main Street! Participating businesses will hand out delicious goodies until 5 pm, making it the perfect opportunity for kids to gather their favorite treats and enjoy a festive afternoon.
The evening brings even more excitement with the Halloween Dance at the Conference Center. Middle schoolers can groove from 6 to 8 pm, while high school students (grades 9-12) can do the Monster Mash from 8 to 10 pm.
Best of all, all events are free, and everyone is encouraged to come in costume. Don’t miss out on this spooktacular celebration. Enjoy a day filled with fun and community spirit.
