Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day in Saranac Lake

The Book Nook is hosting a day-long party to celebrate all things books on Saturday, April 27.

On the last Saturday in April, Independent Bookstore Day brings together the celebration of classics, entrepreneurship and the joy of browsing through aisles of books.

This year, the holiday falls on April 27th. The Book Nook in Saranac Lake is planning a day-long party to celebrate this great event with something for everyone to enjoy.

Among the planned festivities are:

Inside Saranac Lake's popular bookstore, the Book Nook. — Saranac Lake’s independent bookstore, The Book Nook.

Raptor Encounter - Noon to 1 pm: Experience the wild with Adirondack Raptors. Expert Raptor Wrangler Mark will be on site with his avian friends. Perfect for bird enthusiasts and families, explore the fascinating world of raptors. Mark is also the author of the children's book series 'Adventures with Stoney.' Dive into tales of flight and discovery that captivate imaginations.
