Pay Tribute to Adirondack Heroes of the American Revolution
On Memorial Day, Fort Ticonderoga honors men and women who served their country.
Fort Ticonderoga will honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in service to their country during the American Revolution.
Visitors can participate in a two-day event that showcases the story of the American Army in 1777 and its preparation to defend liberty at Ticonderoga. The itinerary features various living history programs and demonstrations throughout Memorial Day weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 25th and 26th in 2024.

Discover the intricacies of military drills and the forgotten trades of the past. A full lineup of activities and programs will be available for visitors to enjoy throughout the weekend. These include daily tours of the fort, King's Garden, and museum exhibition spaces, historic trades programs, ongoing living history programs, and thrilling weapons demonstrations. Visitors can also experience the Mount Defiance viewpoint and hike along the Carillon Battlefield trail.
A special commemorative ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 26.
