Ticonderoga celebrates the arts in the Adirondacks.
Ticonderoga is often celebrated for its history, outdoor recreation, and proximity to both Lake George and Lake Champlain. Less widely known—but equally important—is the community's longstanding support of arts and culture.
The Ti Festival Guild has played a significant role in bringing performances, concerts, and cultural programming to the region for generations. Sponsoring Opera Shots continues that tradition, helping connect local audiences with one of the Adirondacks' premier performing arts organizations.
Located in the center of downtown Ticonderoga, the Knights of Columbus Hall provides a comfortable gathering place where visitors and residents can enjoy an evening of live music together.

Why Opera Shots is uniquely Adirondack.
The Adirondacks have always balanced wilderness and culture in surprising ways.
A visitor might spend the afternoon exploring Fort Ticonderoga, paddling on Lake Champlain, or hiking nearby CATs trails before settling in for an evening performance featuring music more commonly associated with major metropolitan venues.
That combination of accessibility, community spirit, and artistic excellence is precisely what makes Opera Shots feel at home in the Adirondacks.
ADK Taste recommendation.
Arrive a few minutes early and take time to explore downtown Ticonderoga before the performance. Montcalm Street offers local shops, restaurants, and cafés that pair nicely with an evening of music.
ADK Taste insight.
Many visitors are surprised to learn that Seagle Festival, based in nearby Schroon Lake, is among the oldest summer vocal training programs in the United States.
Its nearly century-long history has helped make the central and southern Adirondacks an unexpected destination for opera and musical theater.
