As far as drive-ins go, the Ozoner 29 is a relative newcomer. It was built in 2002 and has brought tremendous family fun and entertainment to Broadalbin in the southern foothills of the ADK.
In less than 20 years, many tourists visiting the Great Sacandaga Lake still call this twin-screen drive-in theatre a summer tradition.
Since the first drive-in opened in New Jersey in 1933, drive-in theatres have been a summer tradition for countless families all across America.
Over the years, many drive-ins needed help to afford the cost of changing technologies and trends to survive the test of time. As a result, we’ve lost some iconic theaters. Luckily, the Ozoner has survived that fate.
Movie audio is provided with a local FM radio broadcast. The Ozoner has a combined capacity for up to 500 cars and two 70' wide pole screens, which are lit with double features seasonally.
The Ozoner is dog-friendly and cash-only.
